On August 26, the Wuxi-Hong Kong Technology Innovation Cooperation Conference was held in Wuxi, attended by distinguished guests including 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐓𝐢𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠-𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐠, Vice President of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), 𝐌𝐬. 𝐄𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐂𝐨-𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐨𝐟 𝐘-𝐋𝐎𝐓, as well as the Secretary of the Wuxi Economic Development Zone and leaders from the municipal science and technology bureau. This event marks another significant milestone following Y-LOT’s initiative last year to bridge the “Wuxi – Hong Kong Integration, Co-Creating the Future.” The “Wuxi – Hong Kong” initiative continues to merge with astonishing depth and breadth, fostering deep connections and accelerating the incubation process of technological innovation achievements.
In January of this year, HKUST and the Economic Development Zone collaborated to establish the “Wuxi-HK Collaborative Innovation Center,” creating a closed loop that integrates the scientific education and talent resources of Hong Kong’s top university with the industrial advantages of Wuxi. This time, led by Vice President 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐓𝐢𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠-𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐠, HKUST brought a large-scale team of professors to the mainland for the first time, showcasing cutting-edge technology projects and once again partnering with the Economic Development Zone to facilitate technology empowerment and industrial implementation. This Wuxi – Hong Kong collaboration is also driving the transformation of HKUST’s original achievements from “0 to 1” into industrial results of “1 to N” in Wuxi.
With a commitment to the future of technology and the improvement of the research ecosystem, 𝐘-𝐋𝐎𝐓 will continue to promote mutually beneficial industry-academia-research cooperation between Hong Kong and the mainland, striving to strengthen the technology transfer process and lead the development of the technological innovation research ecosystem. We also look forward to more possibilities and relationships between technology and industrial development in the future.
8月26日，錫港科技創新合作對接會在無錫舉行，香港科技大學副校長鄭光廷教授，𝐘-𝐋𝐎𝐓聯合創始人兼行政總裁王靜嫻女士、無錫經開區區委書記、市科技局領導等蒞臨現場參加此次盛會。這是繼𝐘-𝐋𝐎𝐓去年牽線搭橋「雙灣融合·共創未來」以來的又一大旅程碑。“雙灣”正以令人驚嘆的深度和廣度不斷融合， 深度互聯，全面加速科技創新成果的孵化進程。
今年1月，香港科技大學和經開區合作共建“錫港協同創新中心”，將香港頂尖大學的科教和人才資源與無錫產業優勢形成閉環。而這一次由鄭光廷副校長帶隊的香港科技大學HKUST第一次如此大規糢的教授團隊來到內地考察，帶著最前沿的技術項目，與經開區再度携手，助力科技賦能，產業落地。此次雙灣合作也推動著香港科技大學“0到1”的原創性成果在無錫轉化為“1到N”的產業化成效。
