From 24-28 April 2026, the “SciTech Drives Innovation · Humanity Elevates Beyond” Greater Bay Area Wuxi SciTech and Cultural Exchange Tour—jointly organized by 𝐘-𝐋𝐎𝐓, the Federation of Greater Bay Area Wuxi Women Organizations, and the Wuxi Women’s Federation—conducted a five-day inspection tour in Wuxi, Jiangsu. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐄𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐂𝐨-𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 & 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐨𝐟 𝐘-𝐋𝐎𝐓, led a delegation of over 20 young SciTech representatives to the frontlines of Wuxi’s industries. Through field visits and project matchmaking, the exchange established a strategic bridge for resource sharing and complementary advantages between Hong Kong, Macao, and the Mainland.
During the visit, with the active facilitation of 𝐘-𝐋𝐎𝐓, Prof. Li ZHAI, an expert in nuclear and environmental engineering, reached a deep collaboration with Wuxi Liangxi Sci-Tech City in fields such as nuclear new energy, waste disposal, and intelligent testing. A preliminary consensus was also reached with key local enterprises on technical collaboration for environmental sampling in specialized fields. Additionally, Meat the Next Co., Ltd. successfully completed multiple food technology project matchings with the Wuxi Liangxi Sci-Tech City through 𝐘-𝐋𝐎𝐓’𝐬 continued coordination. Meanwhile, Mr. William TIU, a postgraduate student specializing in data analysis and artificial intelligence, also benefited greatly from this initiative, gaining a clearer vision for his future research direction.
The delegation visited several key hubs, including the Wuxi Low-Altitude Economy Operation and Exhibition Center, the Robot 6S Scenario Innovation Center at Wuxi Liangxi Sci-Tech City, the Xiyue SPACE, a youth innovation and entrepreneurship base, and the Wuxi (Huawei Cloud) AI Innovation Center. We also toured leading enterprises such as Jiangsu Hongyi Security Technology Co., Ltd. to witness the booming momentum of “New Quality Productive Forces” in Wuxi. This provided first-hand experience with cutting-edge sectors like the low-altitude economy, intelligent robotics, and AI, while exploring further industrial cooperation.
This exchange program effectively strengthened the cooperation channels between the Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta in SciTech resources, achievement transformation, and industrial synergy, resulting in several concrete project matchings. 𝐘-𝐋𝐎𝐓 will continue to act as a cross-regional bridge, steadily deepening Wuxi-Hong Kong integrated development to create a mutually beneficial ecosystem for the SciTech industry.
