The 4th Hong Kong SciTech Pioneers Award 2026-2027

The Hong Kong SciTech Pioneers Award is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the exceptional contributions of distinguished scientists and pioneering research teams across five dynamic fields: Deep Tech, Biotechnology, ESG, Future Innovation, and Technology Transfer

This year, we are honoured to co‑organize with the Hong Kong Jiangsu Science and Technology Innovation Center, emphasizing the importance of HKSAR–Jiangsu cross‑regional SciTech collaboration and marking the significance in transferring Hong Kong’s technologies into Jiangsu’s industrial clusters.

Now entering its fourth edition, the Award has become a signature initiative of the Y-LOT Foundation, underscoring our enduring commitment to advancing scientific excellence and innovation. Through this initiative, our objective is to identify, support, and showcase emerging talents whose work demonstrates transformative potential. By fostering innovation in these critical areas, the Award contributes to the continued development of Hong Kong’s innovation and technology ecosystem, while nurturing future leaders who will drive progress and inspire breakthroughs for generations to come.

Past HKSPA Event Highlights

Building on the generous sponsorship and visionary support received from the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC), leading conglomerates, universities, and partners across the I&T sector in the previous editions, HKSPA has now secured even broader endorsement from distinguished industry leaders and professional bodies. This prestigious award provided tangible support and exposure opportunities to scientists and research teams as well as recognized their prominent scientific achievements that create positive impacts on society beyond mere financial gain, helping them realize their full potential and showcase their innovative ideas to the wider public.

Y-LOT SciTech Landing Achievements

Y-LOT focuses on linking the advantageous resources of Mainland China and HKSAR, building an efficient conversion pathway from the laboratory to practical application. We have successfully facilitated the landing of multiple Hong Kong’s RAISe+ Scheme projects in Mainland China, actively supporting the national strategy to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces, and helping Hong Kong integrate better into the broader context of national SciTech development.

Y-LOT SciTech Exchange Tour to Mainland China

Driven by a vision of shared growth, Y‑LOT SciTech Exchange Tour to Mainland China opens new horizons for innovation. We lead delegations of SciTech pioneers to dynamic mainland I&T hubs, establishing direct communication channels with provincial and municipal government departments. This initiative fosters reciprocal learning, strengthens regional synergy, and accelerates the landing of SciTech projects while expanding cross‑regional collaborations.
