The 3rd Hong Kong SciTech Pioneers Award 2023-2024 is proudly presented by the Y-LOT Foundation, with tremendous support from Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) and Henderson Land Group serves as the Principal Sponsor. Supported by over thirty esteemed organizations in the thriving innovation and technology (I&T) industry, this prestigious award represents the signature event of Y-LOT’s annual flagship programme, “One SciTech One Future” Series Ⅲ. It aims to provide tangible support and exposure opportunities to outstanding scientists and research teams, as well as recognize their prominent achievements and contributions in the fields of Deep Tech, Biotechnology, Space Science, ESG, and Future Innovation.
Beyond mere acknowledgement, this award symbolizes our unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of SciTech pioneers. Since launching the Open Call in November 2024, we have received a multitude of applications and have been diligently preparing for the subsequent Judging Panel Screening and Interview. In December 2024, we hosted a Public Pre-Award Workshop to equip applicants with essential practical knowledge to advance their scientific projects. Following an enthusiastic Public Showcase and Voting for Award Finalists in January-February 2025, we are excited to announce our winners. Join us in celebrating their achievements at the upcoming Award Ceremony!
The 3rd Hong Kong SciTech Pioneers Award Ceremony 2023-2024 has successfully held its third edition, supporting over 630 emerging scientists and innovators, and engaging more than 24,000 participants in related events. It has been receiving widespread acclaim and recognition from the I&T industry and the public. Following a meticulous evaluation process conducted by our esteemed Judging Panel, the Award Ceremony serves as a platform to honour the awardees and celebrate their remarkable accomplishments that positively impact society beyond mere financial gain. Furthermore, this event will bridge generations, fostering the flow of knowledge and experience while forging connections with industry leaders, scholars, professors, and professionals. We are proud to celebrate the dedication and innovation of our awardees in the realm of SciTech, as they lead the way in innovation and research for the future. Their achievements inspire the next generation of SciTech talents to strive for excellence.
