Y-LOT Co-Founder & CEO, Ms. Elaine Wong, has successfully facilitated a groundbreaking collaboration in robotics and AI research between HKUST and the city government of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, as well as Shanghai.
On April 15, 錫港滬機器人靈巧智能研究院 officially established its presence in the Wuxi Jing Kai Qu. The momentous agreement signing ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including Mr. Du Xiaogang, Secretary of Wuxi Municipal Party Committee, Mr. Zhou Wendong, Vice Mayor of Wuxi, Prof. Ding Han, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chairman of the Academic Committee at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Prof. Timothy Sze, the Special Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of Mainland Affairs at HKUST.
Y-LOT firmly believes that this collaboration will revolutionize the field of robotics and AI. By leveraging the combined expertise and resources of Wuxi, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, it will create a powerful cross-border synergy.
