Y-LOT Co-Founder & CEO Ms. Elaine Wong has successfully connected HKUST with city government of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, to set up the “Wuxi – Hong Kong Collaborative Innovation Center” (「錫港協同創新中心」) to promote the development of technological innovation and HKUST also signed a Cooperation Letter of Intent with Wuxi Economic Development Zone Administration.

Du Xiaogang, Secretary of Wuxi Municipal Party Committee, communicated with Nancy Ip, president of HKUST, at the ceremony and the two have reached a consensus about further university-city cooperation in technology innovation and education.

Y-LOT believes that cross-border collaboration could eliminate the tendency of the current ecosystem through the synergy between Mainland’s industrial-strength and Hong Kong’s world-leading research excellence. Y-LOT made a lot of efforts to facilitate the process of technology transfer and enhance the SciTech ecosystem by promoting the integration and complementarity of industrial chains between Hong Kong and other cities in Mainland China.

We look forward to accomplishing more partnerships like this to improve the SciTech ecosystem and achieve a better society.
