Following the Cooperation Salon at Nanjing, the “2024 Wuxi-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Cooperation Symposium 錫港科創交流合作懇談會” was successfully held in Xishan, Wuxi on 30 March. Y-LOT Co-founder & CEO, Ms. Elaine Wong, has also been invited to participate in this event.

Esteemed professors and researchers from diverse institutions in Hong Kong showcased their projects at the symposium. The presentations covered a wide range of topics including the development of PD-001R (Cognitive Enhancer), a drug for neurodegenerative diseases, cognitive human-machine collaborative manufacturing systems, antiviral drug screening and natural product development utilizing human stem cells, biomimetic photocrosslinkable nano-composite materials (BPN) for bone transplantation, low-cost biosensors for non-invasive health monitoring, and the application and potential of zero-knowledge proof technology in Web3.

The symposium aims to provide a deep understanding of the development of Wuxi’s “465” modern industrial cluster to the esteemed Hong Kong compatriots and SciTech professionals. It targets to foster a role as “industrial brokers” for the new productive forces in Wuxi, promoting high-level talent exchanges, scientific and technological cooperation, financial investments, and industrial implementation between Wuxi and Hong Kong.
Y-LOT will continue to serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and exploration of potential partnerships for talents from Hong Kong in the field of science and innovation.
