As part of the Art Exhibition in September, Y-LOT offered 9 workshops to over 50 participants at sponsored venues, V54 and Fortune Metropolis respectively. Kids and parents had a great time making code art fractal trees from coding JavaScript which is one of the concepts that artist Liu Cheng-Hsiang has employed in his Cosmos of Thoughts series. We also received extremely positive feedback from all participants.
Kids received high quality prints of their artwork sponsored by Fotomax. Their creative drawings will be printed on the Y-LOT’s 2022 Charity Calendar which showcases all important dates related to SciTech to enhance the awareness of SciTech as well.
Coding workshop is the latest kids extracurricular activities movement that is in vogue and highly sought-after. Y-LOT believes through participating in the workshop that aligns with top initiative of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education of Education Bureau, kids can pursue their SciTech dreams.
Want to let your kids to grab more opportunities to make their own future drawings? More workshops are on the way. Keep an eye on us!
